フロストフェアとは？What is the Frost Fair?

17世紀から18世紀の小氷期のころ、冬になるとテムズ川は頻繁に凍結し、1607年の英国では最初のフロスト・フェアーが開催され、凍りついた川の上にテントを並べボウリングやアイススケートなど様々な娯楽が提供されました。
このフロストフェアを再現したイベントです。

なお、今年はSIM内に流れる川を氷結させた上が会場となります。




In England 17century to 18century, people make a shopping and playing place during winter season over the frozen Thames river, it called Frost Fair.
They were skating, bowling and shopping, make fun over the river.
We would like to make like that on next event like a festival.
